This is a replica of a concert poster for a Black Sabbath show at the Eel Pie Island at Twickenham, London in May 15 1970.

Eel Pie Island is a small island in the River Thames at Twickenham in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames where the Eel Pie Island Hotel was built in the 19th-century which later became the scene of many jazz, rock and R&B acts from the period 1957 to 1967. After falling into disrepair the club briefly reopened as Colonel Barefoot's Rock Garden in 1969 until 1971 when the Eel Pie Island Hotel burned down in a mysterious fire.

During these two years the venue hosted the heavier sounds of the late 1960s including Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Edgar Broughton, Free, Genesis, Hawkwind, Mott The Hoople, Supertramp, Taste, The Nice and Wishbone Ash.
